Q: Can I do this if I am vegetarian or vegan? Yes! I have options for plant-based particiants - no-one is left behind.

Q: What support is available inside the program? Support will vary depending on the membership level you choose, however all options are designed to provide genuine human connection, guidance, and accountability — not just another app or automated system. Depending on your membership tier, support may include: Access to our private community space Live Zoom coaching or education sessions (with replays available) Email support Coach accountability touchpoints Ongoing educational resources and wellbeing guidance Optional one-on-one naturopathic consultations for more personalised support This program is designed so you feel supported, encouraged, and connected throughout your journey — whether you’re taking a gentle self-guided approach or wanting more structured accountability and practitioner support.

## Q: Can I drink alcohol while on the program? Alcohol is not recommended during the active phases of the program. This is to help support the body’s natural detoxification processes, liver function, blood sugar balance, and overall results throughout the program. Many people also find that removing alcohol temporarily helps improve energy, sleep, cravings, inflammation, and weight management outcomes. Once the active phases are complete, some people choose to reintroduce alcohol in moderation, while others find they feel better continuing with reduced or minimal intake. The program encourages building awareness around what genuinely supports your health, energy, and long-term wellbeing.

Q: I take diabetes medication, can I do the program? Yes, you can, but you must monitor your blood glucose levels and adjust your medication dose as needed. Talk with your Dr to let them know that you are doing the program so they can support you. I also recommend an additional protein serve in the mornings, which may slow your results slightly, but ensures stability in your blood glucose levels. I am available to advise you in more detail. ## Q: Will I feel hungry on the program? As with any significant change in eating patterns or calorie intake, some people may notice increased hunger during the first few days while the body adjusts. For many, this settles fairly quickly and becomes much more manageable over time. Staying well hydrated is very important throughout the program, as thirst, fatigue, and changes in routine can sometimes feel similar to hunger cues. You’ll also have access to ongoing support within the program, so if you are struggling, feeling unusually hungry, or finding things difficult, you are encouraged to reach out for guidance and support rather than trying to push through alone. The goal is to help you work with your body in a supportive and sustainable way throughout the process.

Q: I am using hormone therapy, prescription medications, or weight loss support — can I still do the program? Yes — absolutely. Many women within the Leaner Me community are navigating perimenopause, menopause, hormone therapy, prescription medications, or medically supported weight loss journeys. The program is designed to work alongside a range of approaches, including natural, medical, and integrative care. Any homeopathic or naturopathic supports used within the program do not contain hormones and are intended to complement — not replace — your existing healthcare plan. As always, we recommend continuing to work with your prescribing doctor or healthcare provider regarding any medications or medical treatment plans. If you are unsure about your individual situation, you are welcome to reach out prior to joining.

## Q: Can I exercise while on the program? Yes — however, your exercise may need to be adjusted depending on the phase of the program you are following. We cover this in more detail throughout the program, but generally speaking, during lower-calorie phases it is recommended to reduce the intensity, duration, or frequency of exercise temporarily to better support energy levels, recovery, and overall wellbeing. For most people, this is only a short-term adjustment, and exercise can gradually be increased again during the stabilisation phase. Gentle movement such as walking, stretching, yoga, or light strength work is often encouraged during this time. As always, it’s important to listen to your body and work within your own health needs and medical advice.

Q: Should I stop taking my vitamins or supplements while on the program? This will depend on the specific supplements you are taking and which phase of the program you are in. Some supplements, gummies, powders, or liquid products may contain hidden sugars, oils, or ingredients that are not suitable during certain phases of the program. If you are taking supplements as part of managing a chronic health condition or personalised treatment plan, it’s important that these are reviewed individually rather than stopped abruptly. If needed, you are welcome to book a one-on-one consultation with Tanya for personalised guidance and a tailored plan to support your health goals alongside the program. Please note that consultations are an additional cost unless included within your membership tier.

## Q: Am I required to exercise on the program? No — results are not dependent on intense exercise, and for many people, reducing exercise temporarily during certain phases of the program is actually more supportive. We discuss movement and exercise throughout the program in more depth, but the focus is on supporting your body rather than pushing it beyond your energy capacity. Gentle movement such as walking, swimming, stretching, incidental daily movement, and gentle yoga are all wonderful options during lower-calorie phases. Some people may feel like doing more, while others may need additional rest — both are completely okay. The goal is to work with your body, not against it.

## Q: Can I do the program if I’m a shift worker? Yes — the Leaner Me program is designed to be flexible and adaptable to real life, including shift work and changing schedules. Meal plans and food options can be prepared in advance, and the program can be adjusted around different work hours, sleep patterns, and routines where needed. You’ll also have access to ongoing support, resources, and guidance to help you stay consistent and motivated — even when life feels busy or unpredictable.
