Red Reliever - Liver Cleansing Juice
  • 2 stalks Celery

  • ½ bunch Spinach

  • 4 Medium Carrots

  • 1 Beetroot

  • 1 inch Ginger Root

  • 1 inch Turmeric Root

  • 1 Small Lemon

  • 1 Medium Apple

 

Green Goddess Liver Cleansing Juice
  • 1 Large Cucumber

  • 6 stalks Celery

  • 1 small handful Parsley

  • 1 Apple

  • 1 Small Lemon or Lime

  • 1-inch knob Fresh Ginger (no need to peel)



 
Cabbage Juice Recipe
  • 1/2 cabbage - red or green

  • 1 green apple

  • 1 lemon


This sounds weird, but don't skip it if you are serious about cleaning up your liver. Cabbage is an absolute superfood! There are several reasons for this;

  1. Cabbage is rich is sulforaphane. It's known for its antioxidant, antimicrobial, and anti-inflammatory properties and is studied for its health benefits, such as for cancer prevention, heart health, and as a treatment for autism. Plus it is King for detoxifying the liver by upregulating detoxification enzymes.

  2. Cabbage juice literally heals the gut. It has been proven to heal stomach ulcers and gastritis. It inhibits the growth of h pylori, a bacterium found in the stomach that contributes to these issues.

  3. Cabbage is an excellent source of choline, a nutrient needed by the PEMT gene to make phosphatidylcholine which transports fats out of the liver. Considering that 1 in 3 Aussies have a fatty liver - it's time to embrace the cabbage!
